Even during my short time here a The GSA, I’ve noticed a useful catch all excuse explaining away everything from slovenly behaviour and disorganisation to brilliant creativity and magnificent loopiness. It’s this: “Ah, well, it is an art school.”

I am interested in blogging – in fact I’m positively evangelical about it, which is why I was so keen to establish a Glasgow School Of Art bloghub. I’ve since found myself in the odd position of explaining to cynics, even here at GSA, why they would want to embark on such an enterprise, when to me, the benefits are obvious.
